A few weeks ago I was on the road in the Highlands. The scenery was breathtaking, green hills and mystical lakes wherever you looked. I was particularly impressed by the peace and quiet there. You have the feeling that time simply stands still. No wonder so many films are shot there.

Plastic waste is everywhere: in the oceans, in cities and even in food. Many people are calling for stricter rules, but in everyday life we are reaching for plastic bags again. It is uncomfortable to live consistently sustainably. Nevertheless, the responsibility lies with each and every one of us. This is the only way we can preserve the world for future generations.

Without my cup of coffee in the morning, nothing works. The scent alone makes me awake and a little happier. I know it's just a drink, but for me it's a ritual. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but sometimes I feel like coffee is my best friend.
